The Halfman in Blue Jeans
Being inquisitive and observant, I always liked Google Street View and enjoy browsing and walking into the residences of my far distant-living relatives. Like for instance, the last time when I visited Japan, thanks to the technology I figured out the nearby train station and the road that leads to my sister’s apartment. Once there in Tokyo, in reality, it was a relatively known walk or like a deja-vu experience.
What like I like here in the Infiniti virtual showroom experience is that you can click on any parked car and also enjoy the car cabin from inside. Moreover, the quality of the image is quite appreciable.
Now, this may seem scary, however, when you take a virtual tour of the empty showroom you may have this eerie feeling that someone could be watching you. And while I was ‘being there’ I kid you not, I saw a cringe-worthy halfman in the blue jeans. Have look at the images below!
This actually reminded of a song from my school days; ‘Fear of the dark’ from the ‘Goth Rock’ band Iron Maiden. Should you like to know what I’m talkin’ about? Click the SoundCloud play file and raise up the speakers’ volume and enjoy the operatic vocals of Bruce Dickinson with Dave Murray’s and Steve Harris’s haunting guitars. https://soundcloud.com/moicanux-lvhc/iron-maiden-fear-of-the-dark
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something’s always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone’s always there
OK, fear not, that creepy image is the result of pan & stitch. While the camera was panning all the stationary objects were captured in the entirety, however, the moving mister in the blue jeans got missed out and can’t be stitched, now that’s cringe-worthy, ouch!
