Muscle car and Mustang is just a synonym of each other. Both words can easily be replaceable. A car that introduced the new segment in the history of motoring. Over a million Ford Mustang has already been sold and it’s been said that not a single Mustang is same! It’s the most customized car on this planet by the individuals who bought the car from the showroom or as a second owner.
The 64 1/2 (read sixty-four and a half) already sits in the top echelon of the design in the motoring industry. And from then onwards Ford Mustang continued, inspiring five decades all along. it has seen the best and the worst days, however, the nameplate never died. It’s the only car that has over 3200 appearances in the movies. From the iconic Steve Mcqueen Mustang fastback in highland green to the Nick Cage’s Gone in 60 Seconds starring Elenor Mustang. And this writer had a chance to sit and drive the same car actually made Classic Creations. Need for Speed and then Drive starring Ryan Gosling driving the 2010 4th generation Mustang with a famous highspeed J turn.
When the dissidents from the Top Gear, made their own show The Grand Tour, in the first show the trio – Clarkson, Hammond, and James May seen driving the specially made Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) Mustangs with a unique front end with an astronomical horsepower north of 700hp called as The Rocket Mustang. In 2015 Ford celebrating 50 anniversary of the muscle car, Saleen, Roush, and Shelby along with Ford SVT introduced GT350.
