Montblanc celebrates Festival of Speed with the Cappuccino Edition
Montblanc continues 160 years of fine watchmaking heritage at the Festival of Speed – The Silver Jubilee with the Cappuccino Edition
This year Goodwood its celebrating 25th anniversary – “Festival of Speed – The Silver Jubilee” edition of the 1.16-mile timed Hillclimb Shootout. The Goodwood Festival of Speed attracts every year over 130000 visitors. The event displays history motoring, cars of every category and even motorbikes as well. The event’s hallmark activity is the 1.16 mile Hillclimb Shootout which is revered the most. however, to capture the most prized and precious moments, Montblanc watchmaker is set The Official Timing Partner. This year Montblanc celebrates its second year and to seize the glorified moments Montblanc introduces the new TimeWalker Limited Edition that has been inspired by Minerva’s rich 160-year history.
Known as the “Cappuccino” edition, paying tribute to the Minerva legacy, Montblanc continues 160 years of fine watchmaking heritage with its collections. The Minerva Manufacture was known as an exclusive workshop producing high-quality instruments for measuring brief intervals of time with remarkable precision — for example, the 1/100th of second counter that was presented in 1916. A perfect example of this heritage is the “Rally Timer”, a stopwatch that was created to time motor racing with utmost precision and which has been the source of inspiration for the TimeWalker collection.
During the event, Montblanc will host a special Pavilion where guests can come and relax and discover the Montblanc collections. The Duke of Richmond will also be joining Montblanc and its guests for a special preview of the collection and a sneak peek at the winner’s timepiece.

During the Goodwood event, and in a few selected boutiques, Montblanc will present two new limited edition models that have been inspired by the color of the tropical dial effect – a Manufacture Chronograph and an Automatic Date. The dials are beige with brown counters and brown flanges and have been fondly nicknamed the “Cappuccinos” thanks to their warm and harmonious color scheme.
Montblanc will manufacture the TimeWalker Chronograph Cappucino Edition in only exclusive – 1.500 pieces. These watches will have Montblanc Manufacture Calibre MB 25.10. made with 232 components and 33 jewels with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. The face “Panda” dial with “Cappuccino” beige background and brown counters, rhodium-plated Arabic figures and indexes coated with Super-LumiNova, rhodium-plated luminescent dauphine hour-hand, and minute-hand, red baton chronograph second hand with Minerva arrow at the extremity. They are also certified by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500.
