Nissan Unveils The 2015 Juke – Adding Urban Crossover In The Mix Of Street Night
Dubai is now getting synonymous with ever evolving urban culture. A good idea is to provide a platform to the sub cultural artists and see the chemistry of cultures and magnetism it attracts. The Al Qouz 4B street is now dedicated for hundreds of graffiti artist, food vendors and pop musician are out and about displaying their intrinsic abilities.
Nissan is partnering with ‘Street Nights’ to host the largest urban street art, food and culture experience during the Dubai Food Festival, on 20-21 February. Where, the event will see a variety of internationally renowned street artists fly in from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, Switzerland, New Zealand, France and Spain to compete for the best street art demonstrations as part of the festival. In support of street festival culture and a believer in inspiring creativity, Another element that Nissan added to the ‘mix’ is the regional launch of it’s Urban Crossover, the Juke. It will be a blank canvas for the street artists to create their designs.
Refreshed for 2015, the exterior revisions include tweaking the upper front lamps (now with LED daytime runners), The front grille is now more in sync with the X-Trail, toughening up the under-bumper trim, The door wing mirrors now comes with sleek-line LED repeaters. The rear end now gives a more aggressive look with rear bumper to match the revised tail-lights which now have LED ‘light guide technology’.
Inside, the Juke remains unique with center console designed like a motor-cycle and comes in red metallic color for unmistakable Japanese motorcycle fuel tank. The second-row seats are raised without sacrificing the headroom. The cargo floor lowered, to increase in the back for large luggage. The seats can be folded down to adjust the floor to a higher position, creating a flat cargo space.
The 2015 Nissan Juke is now available with leather upholstery, NissanConnect, sunroof, fog lamps, automatic Aircon and intelligent keyless entry with starter button. Safety features include front airbags, ABS disc brakes with EBD, and stability control and optional side-curtain airbags. Standard features include cloth upholstery, four-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with AUX port, power windows, electric mirrors, rear-view camera and the 60/40 folding rear seats.
The Juke is powered by a choice of either a 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated engine delivering (86 KW) or 117 Hp @ 6000rpm with 158Nm of torque. However a more steroid equipped 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, pumps out healthy (140 kW) or 190 Hp @ 5600rpm with 240Nm of torque.
Nissan Juke prices will range from AED 66000 to AED 85000 approximately.
