Roush On The Dance Floor – Feat Drift King Justin Pawlak
Back in 2002 the BMW came up with a brilliant idea to promote their cars. The idea was best known in the form of series of eight short films called “The Hire”. Offcourse that includes top Hollywood film directors, producers and actors, there was no short supply of money! Even though there was no YouTube, yet the videos went Viral among petrol heads. My favorite has to be Star!
Fast forward to present day, even though there so many well produced TV shows like Top Gear and its million clones, the short films are now much revered and this trend is now the most sought after among motoring aficionados and car companies. Recently, Roush Performance released a short film that stars a 2014 Mustang. Rest, words like drift, exhaust note and tire smoke they just simply follow next to each other like synonyms. Enough of the spoilers!
But then, how about a lazy Saturday afternoon and relish once again the tongue-in-cheek by the driver, Clive Owen and the star, Madonna. Interestingly this film was shot by then Madonna’s hubby Guy Ritchie. Watch it here..
And then this one is by California based production house, Bandito’s Garage. Director Mouse McCoy’s labour of love (loosely in tune with director David Cronenberg). Interestingly this came out at time when BMW released E92 M3 Coupe and hence it was widely believed that the video was just another BMW’s brilliant M3 promotional video, totally genius!
