The New Land Rover Discovery – Break Cover
Once known as ‘Project Jay’ in the Solihull, JLR headquarter back in 1989, Discovery Series I then, now enters in the fifth generation as Discovery 5. Land Rover today has released the first couple of full-frontal images of the all-new Discovery or perhaps LR5 in USA replacing LR4.
In the above image, the cascading looks suggest that Discovery will be a sleeker and stylish SUV rather the clunky looking with highroof incorporating slim side window. Also, near-production leaked images released by Auto Express clearly shows the all new Disco favors a modern, clean speedy looks of other family siblings.
No word on the mechanics and the hardware, yet the SUV will be retaining the 7-seats occupants capacity and then a space for cargo and a dog that will keep the disco treading ‘Above and Beyond’ in the English-way!
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer said: “New Discovery redefines the large SUV. Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV.”
The all-new Land Rover Discovery will officially break cover at Paris motor Show, starting on 28th September 2016
